Even before the start of Tamil film ‘Mynaa’ remake starring Golden star Ganesh and Amala Paul started, there is a title called ‘Mynaa’ in Kannada that is under production.

The Kannada ‘Mynaa’ is original. My – Mythili and Na – Nagashekar is combined as ‘Mynaa’. Comedy actor turned director Nagashekar sitting pretty with the success of ‘Sanju Weds Geetha’ is playing the hero in this ‘Mynaa’. Meghana Raj – daughter of star couple Sunder Raj and Pramila Joshai is the heroine. Meghana Raj made debut in 'Punda' and busy in Tamil and Malayalam films.

Ravi Srivatsa known for action films on Kannada screen is the director. KP Srikanth and Digital Srinath are producers of this film.

Jaassie Gift is scoring the music. The film script is based on the tale narrated by popular cop BB Ashok Kumar. Among so many notorious incidents that the cop has faced one particular incident made him to collect tears. That is the script for Ravi Srivatsa film.
