'Bete' meaning hunt starts on the cyber crime the ongoing issue today in the society. Based on a newspaper clippings director Srinivas Kaushik prepared the script. Akshay of 'Ganga Cauvery' who has under production 'Cindrella' is the hero and the central role is played by Karate queen Ayesha. Ayesha plays the role of a journalist. According to director Srinivas Kaushik, the first hunt made by the journalists by exposing the shady deals and then it is booked as a case by the police. So the hunt in the film is from the journalist he says.

Actor Akshay will be having a negative shade in the first half but in transform to a positive one in the second half solving the confusion in the minds.

Director of a thriller 'Yaradhu' Srinivas Kaushik wants to maintain the same thrill and pace in this film too. Srinivas auditor of Kannada film personalities, son in law of actor Direndra Gopal is in his third production. I have made off beat films Ardhangi and Tarangini. Now I am attempting at a commercial film he says.

Roopesh who made debut from 'Police Story-2' is playing the villain in this film. Ishitha Vyas of Mumbai, Monashri of FC Radio Kannada cinema are also in the cast. BL Babu is the cameraman and Satish Babu is the music director of 'Bete'. There will be only two songs in this film.
