The darling of producers and masses Anushka Shetty who has roots in Karnataka was in Bengaluru to watch the Kannada movie ‘I am Sorry Mathe Banni Pritsona’. Watching the film in the afternoon show on last Friday back in her filmy home town Anushka Shetty recommended the film for some of the producers. That explains she has liked the Kannada film starring lovely star Premkumar, Karishma Tanna and Sanjaana in lead roles.

Here are the excerpts of a chat with Anushka Shetty:

I was at the dinner table with my parents in Bangalore when the news of my engagement to Naga Chaitanya came up. My parents have understood me well. Rumors should be laughed. I was even told engaged to Naga Chaitanya father Nagarjuna.

This time I came to Bangalore to watch the movie I am Sorry Mathe Banni Pritsona…. It is a beautiful film. Director Ravindra is my friend. I look forward for as beautiful script as I am Sorry…Mathe Banni Pritsona.

I look for good scripts not anything. It should inspire me and the audience should like it. I am doing a role meant for Vijayashanthi – it is ‘Rani Rudramma Devi’.

I have one Tamil on hand, Deiva Thirumagal is releasing soon and there are two Telugu films.

I do not believe in planning. Think what is suitable is my priority.

I am looking for a convincing script to make debut in Kannada and Hindi industry.
