The border district of Karnataka Belagavi boasts of a film festival for nine days in the city. The Karnataka Information department supported Kannada film festival for general public is also to keep awareness on the language.

Good Quality films from February 19 to February 27th will be inaugurated by Police Commissioner of Belagavi S Ravi.

The six state award films such as Ingale Marga, Bharat Stores, Tallana, Koormavathara, Allide Nammane Illi Bande Summane, Prasada are screened at Swaroop, Narthaki, Prakash theatres in Belagavi district.
