Ace director of Kannada cinema Nagathihalli Chandrasekhar is upset with the treatment for his film 'Amrutha Dhaare' in three theatre outside Bangalore. The successfully running 'Amrutha Daare' is given a walk out at the 96th day in three theatres. The exhibitors are indulged in this practice because by full show of cinema halls they get more service charge to their kitty. Nagathihalli says at the pretext of collecting high service charge by the exhibitors they are kicking out my film that is not running deficit.

My films always run slowly but it is always steady. Like in the case of star films people won't throng in the first or second week for my films. The collection in the first two weeks will not be hopeless. By 6th or 10th week the capacity in the cinema halls would be equal to first week collection. 'Amrutha Dhaare' has proved it right. I did not get subsidy of Rs.10 lakhs for my film 'Paris Pranaya' that was shot extensively in Paris, Rome and other countries. If this is the condition a discerning film maker like me would definitely find it tough he says.
