The beautiful looking actress of Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada Uma Maheshwari wants to take up direction one day like her father ace director of Kannada cinema D.Rajendra Babu.

She was speaking to this scribe after her debut Kannada 'Uppi Daada MBBS' release at Atria Hotel in Bangalore.

Uma is hell bent on not succumbing to skin show. Let anyone do such roles I am not for it. Without the skin show I have been in the industry doing 40 films. 27 of them in Tamil, 8 in Telugu, four in Malayalam and one in Kannada. I am also the winner of 'Variety' and Cinema Express award for my sterling performance in 'Thendril' of Thangar Bachchan. I am content of what I am today. As for as the roles are concerned I am still thiking on one that has not been done by any heroine in the Indian cinema. I hope the time would come for me to do that unimaginable role says the smiling, soft spoken, well mannered Uma Maheshwari.
