Scaling new heights in life this is the biggest bash arranged by superstar Upendra on the occasion of his birthday on September 18. The 10 acres Hotel, Resort – RUPPI'S – enchanting experience to be cherished for ever… was thrown open by Karnataka Chief Minister H.D.Kumaraswamy who came four and half hours late for the inauguration. Prior to this Upendra family members lighted the lamp on a beautifully decorated dais. Upendra's wife actress Priyanka presented a CD to her hubby on this occasion that is a memorable past of Upendra in his life.

Upendra known for more work and less talk addressed the crowded media at RUPPI'S hotel cum resort conference hall with his brother Mr Sudheendra the managing director of the hotel cum resort seated next to him. Initially I started off with the idea of opening a studio on the 18 acres of land I bought sometime ago. It is a studio with one in four set up surrounded by temple street set, government building, multiplex etc. But six months ago I was able to acquire 10 acres of 'Village Resort' built by Mr Sudesh Magate. After acquisition of this I changed my whole idea of the studio that called for huge investment said Upendra. Now the resort is named as RUPPI'S with six months work for facelift. Prakruthi, Madhumathi, Atithi, Samskruthi, Sabapathi, Gangavathi, Maruthi, Brahaspathi, Kaun Banega Crorepathi, Lakpathi, Sahasrapathi? RUPPI'S has a varying range of cottages to suit every need and every family. The facilities like fishing, boating, beach volley ball, basket ball, badminton, lawn tennis, foot ball, cricket, horse riding, library, cycling, camel riding, children play area, swimming, trekking, table tennis, board games, pool and billiards.

From the earnings of this RUPPI'S the studio under construction will be set up soon. In the huge 28 acres (10 acres hotel and resort and 18 acres for studio) the plantations like coconut, plantain, mango, grapes, tamarind, vegetables and flowers are grown with nearly 50 people working day and night.
