The ‘School Master’ film producer C R Manohar, a business tycoon and a politician in the JDS party, is not satisfied with the outcome of the film ‘Master’ starring Dr Vishnuvaradhan and Suhasini Mani Ratnam. He wanted some more grandeur and expansion of climax with a stronger action scene.

When C R Manohar saw the film ‘Master’ at the rerecording stage a few months ago he called up Dr Vishnu and director Dinesh Baboo to express his thoughts. Dr Vishnuvaradhan agreed to the demand of the producer but director Dinesh Baboo was not available for some additions shoot said C R Manohar speaking to a few journalists after the morning show of the film.

To a question what would he do from the super success of the film ‘School Master’, Manohar said this is a wrong question and he is not expecting the success out of ‘Master’. I have seen money in my life he pointed. Understanding the inner meaning of the question Manohar replied I am ready to contribute a substantial amount for Dr Vishnuvaradhan Trust. He has already discussed this aspect with Smt.Bharathi Vishnuvaradhan.

On his learning experience as producer from the days of ‘Orata I Love You’ he said film after film I studied the tricks of the trade. In my first two films I have lost money. In the 100th film of Telugu actor Shrikanth ‘Mahatma’ I invested Rs.15 crores and lost Rs.4 crores he admitted.

Out of family compulsions C R Manohar has introduced his brother Gopichand in his just started Kannada film ‘FM Rainbow’. Rishik Singh is the heroine with co stars Srinivasamurthy, Vinaya Prakash, Akshay, Jai Jagdish, Sudha Belawadi and others. B Ramamurthy is director of ‘FM Rainbow’. GR Shanker scores the music.
