The maximum of singers from Mumbai are having a bash in ‘Preethi Nee Shaswathana’ Kannada film starring Akshay Kumar and Keerthi in the lead roles.

For eight songs eight Bollywood singers plus the veteran singers Dr K J Yesudas, Dr SPB, Chitra from South India and for name sake Shruthi from Bangalore have worked. According to sources the remuneration music director K Kalyan takes for the entire film music of eight songs is less than what Sonu Nigam has taken for one song.

Another amazing fact is that Sonu Nigam’s one song remuneration is six times more than what Dr K J Yesudas, Dr SPB and Chitraji charges for one song. Added to is the fact the remuneration paid to Bollywood singers is not even the investment made on capturing their songs on the screen admitted director of the film LN Murthy.

‘Preethi Nee Shaswathana’ – Hotthutto Munchene…is sung by Shaan and Sunidhi Chavan, Nooru Nooru Preemigalalli….is sung by Udit Narayan and Harini, Yavudho Preethiya Kogile….is sung by Abijith, Shreya Goshal, Railu Railu….is sung by Kunal Ganjawala and Shruthi.

Entha Chandada Hudugi…is sung by SP Balasubramaniam, the pathos song Atthamele Kannirige…goes to Dr K J Yesudas and the same song is sung by Chitra – the three veterans from South India.

No takers for such an audio album featuring stalwart singers is another blow for the first time producer R Venkatesh. None of the audio industry came forward to buy the audio rights of ‘Preethi Shaswathana’ that made producer Venkatesh to float his own house Ashith Aduio.
