The Tamil film ‘Emdan Magan’ remake ‘Putra’ starring Diganth the current sensation in Kannada after two mega hits ‘Manasaare and Pancharangi’ playing the title role the powerful actor on Kannada screen Avinash is playing the father role.

Rose Productions ‘Putra’ has recently completed the DTS application for the film. Anthony Pal is the producer. The first print of the film is ready says director Umakanth who has given hits like ‘Anuraga Sangama’ in Kannada.

The film ‘Putra’ was shot in the beautiful locales of Mysore, Melkote, Nandi Hills, Chickmagalur and Bangalore in forty five days. There are six songs in the Ramesh Raja music direction. Ravi Suvarna is the cameraman.

Supritha is the heroine for Diganth with Roopasri, Tennis Krishna, Sudha Belawadi, Sundarraj and others in the supporting cast.
