A remake film has a bench mark. It is difficult in directing compared to an original film. In the original film the derivation is individual capacity of director with his team support. In the direction of a remake film it has to be above the level already fixed says one of the intelligent directors of Kannada cinema Mahesh Rao.

Mahesh Rao as Magesh Rao in 'Dheemaku' given a striking performance and Naveen Krishna able performance was a winner in the media circles. The film did not click but his courage to another film with original subject 'Murali Meets Meera' was once again good. He got rave reviews for this film too like what he got for debut film 'Dheemaku'.

The third film of this craftsman is a remake of Telugu film 'Ranam'. It is 'Bhadra' starring Prajwal Devaraj and Disha Shah. The song screening on Friday evening left a strong feeling the film will have stuff.

According to Mahesh Rao the most difficult is a remake film. I have surpassed the quality of the original with splendid support from producer MN Kumar and actor Prajwal Devaraj says the confident director.

‘Bhadra’ has been given U/A certificate by the regional censor board for violence portion in it. Guru is the music director and Jai Anand is the cameraman. Satyajith, Kashi, Sharan, Girish, Sampath are also in the cast.
