Rare ! Veteran Charle shares firsthand information about Vijay, Suriya, Ajith & Shalini

We caught up with veteran comedy and character artiste Charle for an exclusive interview in which he shared many exciting incidents in his 36 year old career in Tamil cinema.  Regarding Vijay with whom he has shared screenspace in a number of movies including 'Poove Unakkaga' and 'Friends' he has stated that the Thalapathy remains the same when he was just a new comer till today after reaching superstardom.  Charle has found the recent blockbuster 'Mersal' to be a highly enjoyable film in which Vijay has broken boundaries of a mass hero to perform three different roles with multiple shades.

Charle has also found Suriya to be a wonderful co-artiste and human being and his '24' is the movie the veteran loves.  He feels that donning three different roles including a villain is very difficult and the way he portrayed them to be simply amazing.

Charle also has wonderful things to say about Ajith with whom he has worked in a number of films starting from his debut 'Amaravathi' to 'Red'.  He feels that the Thala's recent 'Vivegam' is a difficult movie to make due to its huge canvas and the mass hero has done a great job.  Ajith's wife Shalini too is a long time colleague who he addresses as "Kuttyma" since her child artiste days.

Charle revealed an interesting incident about how on the sets of 'Kadhallukku Mariyadhai' when he and Shalini were talking about their old times, director Fazil decided to change their characters from graduates to master graduates.  He remembers fondly how both Ajth and Shalini called him to congratulate his performance in Cheran's 'Vettri Kodi Kattu'.

There is more from Charle about Sivakarhtikeyan, 'Maanagaram', the caravan culture of today's stars to follow in the video below.
