Ragini feels fortunate

The bubbly heroine of Kannada cinema with right attitude, beautiful looks and well built body, Ragini shining sharply from ‘Yee Shathamanadha Veera Madhakari’ (opposite Sudeep) getting rain of opportunities thereafter is now feeling very fortunate to star in a Malayalam film that too with Big B Amitabh Bachchan and super star Mohanlal together in ‘Kandahaar’ that is based on 1999 Air Plane hijack.

Ragini in an e-mail on her experience in her first Malayalam film ‘Kandahaar’ to IndiaGlitz says the first schedule has been completed in Ooty. Ragini plays an independent girl a tom boyish in nature that is vivacious. She plays an important link between Amitabh Bachchan and his son Ganesh Venkataram. “I am close to Amitabh Bachchan in this film and informs everything about his son to him”, Ragini explains.

“Shooting with Amitabh Bachchanji has been my dream that was fulfilled very early in my career. He is an institution by himself. I was tensed to perform opposite Amitabh Bachchanji. He made me very comfortable that eased out all worries and tensions in me. I have three scenes with Amitabh Bachchan that is very jovial. I will cherish the experience in my memory for ever”, she says excitingly.

“Director Major Ravi of ‘Kandahaar’ is a fabulous realistic film maker. He has brought in more natural feel to the film. Mohanlalji is another down to earth simple person I have seen in my early part of career. Mohanlalji takes interest in every scene for the betterment. I got appreciation from Mohanlalji for my dancing skills. The Tappanguchi song is shot in various locations of Ooty. It is a mass song”, says Ragini on her first schedule.
