Director Venkat Prabhu is reportedly done with the casting for this next film, Biriyani, which has Karthi in the lead. The director has stated that an announcement will be made soon regarding the project.

Biriyani will be Yuvan Shankar Raja's 100th film in Tamil cinema, and he has reportedly finished composing the tracks already. Recently, it was confirmed that Sam Anderson will be playing a role in Biriyani, after he was initially considered for a role in Goa. If everything goes as per the schedule, the film will be coming out by Summer 2013, the director confirmed.

Meanwhile, Venkat Prabhu has finished shooting four episodes for his new TV show on Vijay TV. Just like the fans, we are eagerly waiting for more news from the Director and should be able to get it soon.
