Sivakarthikeyan starrer Varuthapadadha Valibar Sangam is one of the few super hits of the year 2013, in Kollywood. The film in which the TV anchor turned hero paired up with debutant Sridivya and Satyaraj playing a vital role was directed by debutant Director Ponram. Director Rajesh also the mentor of Ponram, had written the dialogues for the film that resulted the film being a rib tickling comedy.

All the songs in the film composed by D.Imman, were charbusters and the famous Oodha colouru ribbon written by famed lyricist Yugabarathi being the pick of the lot.

The film produced by B.Madan under his Escape Artiste Motion Pictures banner, ran to packed houses and recently crossed the 100 day mark with a few screens still allocating a few shows for the film even now.

The latest news that has surfaced about the film is that Director Susi Ganesan has acquired its Hindi remake rights.

Quizzed about this, the Director whose last outing in Tamil was Vikram-Shriya Starrer Kandhasamy that released way back in 2009, confirmed that he has purchased the remake rights of VVS. He also said that he will only be producing the film and a debutant director will weild the megaphone.

When wea sked whether he has given a break for Direction, he was quick to reply that he is all set to direct as well as produce a film with a leading hero and the official announcement on the same will be out soon.
