Manmatha Rasa song plagiarized

The `Manmatha Rasa’ song in Thiruda Thirudi was copied for the Kannada film `Kassipalaya’.

The audio was released a week back and the song became a hit. Hearing this the producer Krishnakanth of Indian Theatres who produced `Thiruda Thirudi’ went to Chennai High Court on an appeal against the Kannada song. He pointed out that the rights for the song was vested with him. Justice Ashok Kumar asked the producer to play out both the versions. After hearing both the songs the court felt that it was a copy and ordered a stay on playing the Kannada version and sent a notice to the producer of Kaasipalaya’.
