Vivekh's 48 day 'Viradham' for Ajith's recovery

We know that actor Vivekh is a good friend and well-wisher of ‘Thala’ Ajith. Many instances can be cited from the comedy sequences of Vivekh in which he has expressed his respect for Ajith. Even in the trailer of a upcoming film ‘Vai Raja Vai’ in which the veteran comedian plays an important role, he says “Bike Otravan Ellam Ajith aagida mudiyaadhu” (Not all who can ride a bike can become Ajith).

At the time when Ajith and Vivekh have started acting together after a long time in the former’s 55th film directed by Gautham Menon, a real life incident that would go a long way to explain how much does Vivekh care for the wellbeing of Ajith has been revealed.

During the shooting of Sundar.C directed ‘Unnai Thedi’ Ajith was suffering from severe back pain and he had to undergo a critical surgery. Vivekh prayed the lord Subramaniya of Thiruthani temple for the successful completion of the surgery and complete recovery of Ajith. He also underwent a 48 day Regimen (‘Viradham’) and visited the temple to offer his prayers.

Though he was very happy that his prayers have attained fruition and Ajith became normal after the surgery, Vivekh kept this as a secret to himself for long and told this during a casual talk at after a long time. A senior journalist who came to know about this leaked this to the press.

Vivekh himself has admitted this in a recent Television interview. He said, what he did was a small deed out of his care for a good friend and that’s why he did not want to make it public.
