Venkatesh in for Salim remake

Vijay Antony starrer 'Salim' has garnered enough attention amongst media and critics, now it seems that the Telugu makers have expressed interest in remaking the movie. Actor Venkatesh who is a keen follower of Tamil cinema will soon be seen in the remake of 'Salim' and essaying Vijay Antony`s character.

Directed by Nirmal Kumar, 'Salim' was a decent hit at the BO for its songs and unique portrayal, making it one of the hot remake materials. Though its early to comment, Nirmal might be wielding the megaphone for the remake in telugu, even though the youngster has been receiving numerous offers in Tamil as well.
