Lakshmi Menon was not present in the audio launch and press meet of Karthi-starrer 'Komban' in Chennai a few days ago.

When reporters pointed this out to the film's director Muthaiah, he said that the actress was busy preparing for her higher secondary exams.

"So we did not want to disturb her," he said. It may be recalled that the 'Kumki' girl announced recently that she might quit movies if she did not come across interesting offers.

In an interview to a Tamil magazine, she dropped a hint that she reluctantly accepted 'Komban' offer.
