You just can't expect Simran to take things lying down.

A stormy petrel kind of a character, she always speaks her mind.

And that is what she has done while denying all allegations made by the producer of Kicha Vayadhu 16 that she did not turn up for the shooting and did not cooperate in completion of the film.

Speaking from New Delhi over phone, Simran said, "they are baseless allegations. I am in the family way now. I will reply them at an appropriate time".

Denying that she had acted as heroine in the film, Simran said, "the cheque that they paid me as my remuneration to act in the movie bounced. When I raised the issue, there was no proper reply from them.

Hence I pulled myself out of the project. I appeared for just three days of shooting and I am now surprised to know that they are saying it is an out-and-out Simran's film".

Simran did not stop with that. She says: "I have not acted glamorously in the movie. But they are saying so. It is a mean tactic to sell their product".

Stressing that she had not urged them to give her husband a role to act in the movie, Simran said, "it is all part of the mudslinging campaign against me".

"In four months, I will be delivering my baby. I am happily settled with my husband here leading a peaceful life", she said.
