The man who is keeping the political parties in suspense with his moves, yesterday called on DMK supremo M Karunanidhi.

Though it was just described as a courtesy call, there was all manner of speculation in the industry.

Vijayakanth, who is writing a column in a Tamil magazine, has been done some plain speaking about his relationship with Karunanidhi.

And the 'Captain' was also perceived to be close to the AIADMK than the DMK.

But this courtesy call changes all the equations.
