Following a glamorous show in Karka Kasadara, Lakshmi Rai has bagged a series of plump offers to act in various languages.
This former Miss Belgaum girl is currently acting with Parthiban for a movie titled Paisa.
Lakshmi Rai, who made her debut courtesy R V Uthayakumar in Karka Kasadara, plays a bubbly young girl in the film.
After finishing Karka Kasadara, she signed Valmiki with Shivaraj Kumar in Kannada, which is in progress. She has recently signed for an untitled film in Malayalam with Jayaram. Her Telugu film Kanchanamala Cable TV with Srikanth is ready for release.
But she is very thrilled about her role in Paisa.
"It is a good role with lot of scope for me to perform and especially acting with a seasoned actor like Parthiban is a great joy", she says.
