Actress Simran, who is married and settled in Delhi, has given birth to a baby boy. According to sources close to Simran, the actress delivered a baby on Saturday at a private hospital in Delhi.
Simran who was married to her relative Deepak Bagga last year was in the family way and hence could not play the lead role in Chandramukhi, which went to Jyothika.
Meanwhile, Simran is expected to be in Chennai in a couple of months to take part in the shooting of Sivakasi starring Vijay, in which she will perform an item number.
Now that stork has visited her house, Simran has to decide whether she wants to concentrate on films or bring up her son personally. Her husband Deepak, it is said, is averse to she coming back to films. But if she intends doing mother roles, he may relent.
In the event, real mother or reel mother, Simran has to decide fast.
