Actors shaving their heads off for their films is an inescapable trend in Kollywood.

Following Surya and Dhanush, who went hairless for Ghajini and Athu Oru Kanaa Kalam respectively, it's now the turn of Sarath Kumar.

He is to tonsure his head for his new film Khaki, a movie to be directed by Githan fame Vincent Selvah.

Vadivelu and Malluwood actor Jeeva play important roles in the movie.

Produced by GJ Combines, Khaki is slated for release on Deepavali.
