It is difficult to classify Gopika as a Malluwood actress any more.
She doesn't seem to act in Malayalam these days. Her time is completely taken up by Tamil films, as she is one of the front-ranking actresses here.
The gamine charmed actress is all set to join hands with Dhanush now.
Gopika and Dhanush will come together for a movie to be directed by Parthiban Kanavu fame Karu Palaniappan.
Salem R Chandrasekharan, who produced Dhanush's Sullan earlier, would produce the movie.
The shooting for the movie would commence as soon as Dhanush completes his Pudhupettai.
Meanwhile, Gopika is currently busy acting with Silambarasan in Totti Jaya and few other movies in Tamil.
Gopika's Ponniyin Selvan with Ravi Krishna is also almost ready for release.
From being a homely school-girl kind of image, Gopika recently upped the glamour stakes with a 'bold' performance in Kanaa Kanden.
