Actor-director Cheran is penning the screenplay for Sarath Kumar's 100th film Thalaimagan.

Cheran, whose Thavamai Thavamirindhu has almost been completed and is ready for release on Deepavali.

Meanwhile, he has also commenced producing a movie titled Alagai Erukurai Bayamai Irukirathu .

On penning the screenplay for Thalaimagan, Cheran has said that it was indeed an exciting job and he accepted as he was impressed with the story penned by Kaveri Maindhan.
