Simran, who turned her back to films after her marriage with Deepak Bhaga and settled in New Delhi, will be in Chennai next week.
She will be performing a dance number for a mega charity show organized by an NGO - The Banyan on 5 February.
Speculations are high whether she would be making a comeback in Tamil films or not.
Adding more fuel to it comes her decision to perform at the star show.
The show would be presided over by Kamal Haasan, who would be singing a couple of songs from his films.
Others to perform in the show include Silambarasan, Madhavan, Srikanth, Parthiban, Shaam and Bollywood star Vivek Oberoi.
Among the actresses, the show will witness the likes of Navya Nair, Shobana, Sandhya, Genelia, Reema Sen among others.
