Thrilled by the decent success of his Uyir, Srikanth is optimistic about the prospects of his next Kizhakku Kadarkarai Salai.

Being produced by his manager Anthanan, Kizhakku Kadarkarai Salai features Bhavana opposite Srikanth. The movie brings together Srikanth and director Stanley again after their successful outings in April Madhathil and Mercury Pookal.

Says Srikanth, 'We have shot a major portion of the movie in East Coast Road. As the title suggests, the road has an important part in the script. Bhavana plays my love interest.'

The movie is almost complete and is planned for a September release.

Stanley says that he has projected a different Srikanth in this movie and it will also be in different vein from his earlier other two movies.

Remember yesteryear hero Suresh? The man who made his debut in Panneer Pushpangal and went on to act in over 100 films. He plays the baddie in the movie.

Srikanth is confident of making it to the top league with Kizhakku Kadarkarai Salai.
