Arindhum Ariyamalum provided an entry ticket to the tall and cute-looking actress Samiksha to try her luck in Kollywood. Though the movie became a box office hit, she had no big offers coming her way and she was reduced to playing the second fiddle.
In Mercury Pookal, she acted with Srikanth and Meera Jasmine and in the recent Manadodou Mazhaikalam, she played the second fiddle to Nithya Das.
However she is still confident of making it big. She hopes that a good showing of Manadodu Mazhaikalam will revive her fortunes.
Meanwhile, the big news is that Samiksha has been cast to act in a Hindi movie to be produced by the respected production house Sahara. The rest of the cast and crew have not been finalized yet. Also she is part of the Kannada remake of Manmadhan and she plays the role enacted by Jyothika in the original.
According to Samiksha when the going gets tough, the tough gets going.
