Having completed his Deepavali, Jayam Ravi is off to commence shooting for his next venture Dhaam Dhoom. The movie features the actor in an action-packed role for the first time.

Cinematographer-director Jeeva, who completed his Unnalae Unnalae, will wield the megaphone for the movie.

Initially Sivapathigaram fame Mamta Mohandas was supposed to play the heroine in the movie. Now the baton has been passed to Reema Sen. Fresh from the success of Rendu, Reema would be playing Ravi's ladylove in the movie.

Sources close to Jeeva say there is one more heroine in the movie. But the details of who is playing the role is kept under wraps.

Ravi plays a trainee doctor in the movie and major portion of the movie would be shot in Russia.
