Sathyaraj is one of the veteran heroes who till date plays young hero running around trees romancing.

At a time when his son has made his mark as a young hero in Kollywood, Sathyaraj still prefers to do the hero in Tamil cinema. Interestingly, Sathyaraj has accepted to don the role of a father.

Director Priya, who wielded the megaphone for 'Kanda Naal Mudhal, is directing Kannaamoochi Enadaa with Prithviraj in the pivotal role. Surprisingly Sathyaraj has accepted to act as his father in this film.

Trying for an image make-over, Sathyaraj awaits the release of Periyar this May. The movie features him in the role of a revolutionary leader. He hopes that the role would bring him more fortunes.
