Director Lingusamy's maiden production venture Deeppavali successfully completes its 100th day Friday.

Directed by Ezhil, the movie starring Jayam Ravi and Bhavana in lead roles had managed a successful run amidst biggies including movies starring Ajith, Vijay and Sarath Kumar.

A romantic tale, Deeppavali is directed by Ezhil, who had earlier wielded the megaphone for movies including Pennin Manadhai Thottu and Thullatha Manamum Thullum.

The success has taken Jayam Ravi to greater heights for his last venture Unakkum Enakkum too was a hit.

A thrilled Lingusamy, says, “When Ezhil narrated the story to me, I was confident that the movie would become a hit. Being my maiden production venture, I am in double joy now”.
