No one can forget the evergreen hit number Engeyum Eppodhum. The chartbuster was sung by S P Balasubramaniam, a couple of decades ago.

The song with youthful lyrics became an anthem among the youngsters then. SP Balasubramaniam rose to stardom after rendering his voice for the song.

Now, the song is being remixed for Polladhavan. And quite interestingly S P Balasubramaniam has rendered his voice for the remix. Giving him company is Malaysia Vasudevan's son Yugendran.

The Dhanush-starrer is being shot at a hectic pace. G V Prakash has composed the music for the remix version. The song has rap in the interlude rendered by a Malaysian singer Yogi B.

With remixes ruling the roost, no doubt Engayum Eppodhum is going to top the charts. Recently Dhanush's Thiruvilayadal Arambham had Rajinikanth's popular song Enama Kannu remixed by D Imman and it was an instant hit among music-lovers.
