After Madurai Veeran, director Vincent Selvah teams up with director Sundar C. The latter plays the lead role in the movie which would be produced by Shristi Creations, who churned out Thavamai Thavamirundhu, last year.
Vincent Selvah has titled the film Perumal and acting opposite Sundar C is Namitha. Vivek, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Ilavarasu and Thiyagu are also in the cast.
Interestingly Balakumaran has penned the story and dialogues for the movie.
The movie would go to floors in June and would be shot in Hyderabad, Thekkady, Munaru. Songs would can in Canada and Syria.
Sundar C plays a taxi-driver and Namitha dons the role of a woman selling antique items. The encounters between them form the crux of the movie.
Meanwhile Shooting for Sundar C's Veerappu is nearing completion. Gopika plays his heroine in the movie.
