Director Suresh made a name for himself with Arasu starring Sarath Kumar. However his subsequent films including Gambheeram and Sabari did not fare well at the box office. But, Suresh did not lose heart.

Known to come up with racy entertainers, Suresh has managed to wield the megaphone for Sarath Kumar starrer Nam Nadu. The movie is a remake of a blockbuster Malayalam movie titled Lion which starred Dileep and Kavya Madhavan in lead role.

The movie supposedly has political overtones.

Meanwhile, Suresh has impressed Arjun. The latter was elated at listening to an action-packed script from Suresh and has agreed to work with him for a movie soon.

After Nam Nadu gets over, Suresh would commence shooting for the Arjun starrer.
