Cinematographer - director, who passed away at Russia on Tuesday morning, was good at spotting talents and introduced several fresher including Shaam, Asin, Arya, Pooja and Vinay to Tamil cinema.

Those introduced to big screen by Jeeva were shocked at his untimely death. Shattered and wordless, these stars condoled the death of Jeeva and recalled their experiences working in his films.

Shaam, who had been part of Jeeva's films 12 B and Ullam Ketkumae, expressed his shock on the sudden demise of the ace cinematographer. “I am shattered”, Shaam said and added, “I owe everything to him. He nurtured me and gave me an identity. I am speechless not finding the right words to react. He taught me the basics in cinema. In more ways than one, he was friend, philosopher and guide”.

Pooja said,” I am running out of words. He was a perfectionist with his ability to extract the best out of his artistes. His demise has robbed us of a creator, who did wonders on the screen”.

Sada, who had an integral role in Jeeva's last Unnale Unnale, echoed similar feelings. “I have lost a good friend, having shared a good rapport with his family members. We were all together during the shoot of Unnale Unnale. That he is no more is a feeling still to sink in”.

Arya said,” It is one of the darkest moments of my life. Not only he gave me the opening, had always motivated me. I have lost a friend, philosopher and guide”.

We sincerely condole the death of cinematographer\director Jeeva. The ace director Jeeva had given one of his last interviews exclusively to IndiaGlitz. On his untimely death we recall his conversation with IndiaGlitz. http://www.indiaglitz.com/channels/tamil/gallery/events/12576.html
