Taking part in a grand function organized in Chennai on Sunday, veteran director K Balachander declared that he is a great fan of Asin.

Balachander's statement on the stage has brought cheers for Asin.

Speaking over the phone, the young actress said, "Every actress would love to work in KB sir's film. Such a stalwart has expressed his admiration for my acting. I think I am really privileged. More than anything what I have achieved so far in my career, this appreciation by Balachander is the pleasant moment in my life", she said.
