Sivaji completes 50-day run

The magnum opus of Tamil cinema Sivaji : The Boss has successfully completed half-century and is still going strong.

The movie, which released amidst fanfare has marched ahead to complete 50-days in over 800 theatres across the globe.

Starring Rajnikanth and Shriya in lead roles, the movie directed by Shankar and produced by AVM had created history in Tamil film industry by opening very big.

It managed to win a place in the UK Top Ten list too. The movie also went on to become one of the biggest grossers for any Indian movie in the USA.

With Superstar in the lead role, the movie had big names like cinematographer K V Anand, art director Thota Tharani, editor Anthony among others joining hands with Shankar to recreate a magic at the box office.

Produced in the 60th anniversary of the famed AVM Productions, the movie has collected huge revenue wherever it was screened.

The movie is still going strong and the is expected to shatter several records in the coming days.
