With Deepavali round the corner and a host of movies are getting ready for release on the day, several small movies are targeting September.

A slew of movies are getting released this September.

They include Arjun starrer Maruthamalai, Prasanna's Cheena Thana 001, and Haricharan – Newton's Thoovanam on 7 September.

All newcomer starrer Theekuchi, 18 Vayasu Puyale and the maiden venture of S Ve Shekher's son Ashwin Shekher's Vegam on 14 September.

The much hyped Bharathiraja's bi-lingual Bomallattam starring Nana Patekar and Arjun, director V Priya's Kannamoochi Yaennada and Vishal starrer Malaikottai are expected to hit the screens in the third week of this month while Dhanush starrer Polladhavan, Sivi and Malayalam director Jeyaraj's Sila Nerangallil will be released on 28 September.
