Critically acclaimed Paruthiveeran is all set to complete its 200-day run. Directed by Ameer, the film introduced Karthi, Suriya's younger brother as hero in the tinsel town.

The film saw a great performance from the debutant actor equally matched by Priyamani.

The latter won an international award for her performance besides being selected as the best actress by the Tamil Nadu government.

The film's music score is by Yuvan Shankar Raja was a big hit.

Saravanan and Pon Vannan contributed their best for the movie.

Based on a rural theme, the movie was appreciated by one and all alike.
