Ulliyin Osai, the movie which has story and dialogues by the Chief Minister M Karunanidhi will go to floors on 6 October.
Ilavenil makes his debut as director. The film will be launched at Prasad Studios on 6 Oct.
Because the story and dialogues are by him and because Ilavenil is his friend, the Chief Minister is participating in the function.
Uliyin Osai is a historical film with the times of Raja Raja Chola as background. Sarath Babu plays the role of Raja Raja Chola and Vineeth is the hero.
The film has two heroines, Keerti Chawla and Akshaya.
Music is by Ilayaraja.
