'Sadhu Mirandaal' marks the reentry of Malayalam director Siddhique into Tamil cinema, who had earlier directed movies like ‘Friends’ with Vijay and ‘Engal Anna’ with Vijaykanth in the lead roles, respectively.

Prasanna is doing the lead with 'En Mana Vaanil' fame Kavya Madhavan, who is one among the top heroines of Malayalam acting opposite him.

Prasanna says, "I am happy to be the part of ‘Sadhu Mirandaal’, directed by veteran Siddhique. The script is simple and straight forward which will certainly woo Tamil audience. This film will be an important milestone in my career."

Kavya Madhavan says, "After 'En Mana Vanil', I had no big offers here. Now I am confident that 'Sadhu Mirandaal' would bring more fortunes to me".

The film has Kalabavan Mani and Kanja Karuppu in important roles.
