Grapevine is abuzz with rumors that Prasanna would be playing a prominent role in a movie to be produced by SPB Charan. Charan, who won accolades for producing 'Chennai 600028', is currently busy with his next production venture 'Kunguma Poovum Konjum Pooravum'.

He played a prominent role in Venkat Prabhu's 'Saroja' and was lauded by the audience for his performance. Buzz is that his next production venture would feature Prasanna in the lead role.

The movie tentatively titled 'Paramapadham' would be directed by a former associate of Venkat Prabhu. Charan was highly impressed with the storyline and readily agreed to do the movie.
