Director Perarasu is optimistic that 'Thiruvanammalai' slated for release next month, will go on to become the biggest hit in his career so far.

Starring Arjun, Pooja Gandhi and Sai Kumar in lead roles, the movie is produced by Kavithalaya Films. Said an enthusiastic Perarasu, 'audiences expect punch dialogues, a racy screenplay, peppy songs and a cameo from me in my films. 'Thiruvannamalai' has all these elements in it'.

Speaking about the film, he said, 'it is about Arjun, who runs a local cable TV network. He exposes the corrupt deeds of a local MLA. This lands him in grave trouble. How he overcomes the troubles form the crux. The first half will be humorous, while the latter is loaded with raw action.'

'Songs by Srikanth Deva has come very good, while Arjun, Meenal and Karunaas have contributed their best', he said and added 'I play a doctor, a nice little cameo in the movie'.

'Thiruvannamalai' will hit the screens during the second week of December.
