Filmmaker Kasthoori Raja is back after a break. He is all set to a start a film titled ‘Kadhal Vasamagi’, a decent love story sans glamour, according to circles close to him.

Though the director’s wish is to have his younger son Dhanush in the lead role, it is said that a new face would fill the gap due to ‘unavoidable reasons.’

“The movie would be a straight contrast to his earlier venture ‘Idhu Kadhal Varum Paruvam’ (with Kiran in the lead), a film with an overdose of glamour. It would be a decent love story on the lines of Kadhal,” say those in the know.

Kasthoori Raja’s earlier ventures include ‘En Rasavin Manasile’, ‘Ettupatti Rasa’ and ‘Thulluvadho Ilamai’. His elder son Selvaraghavan has established himself as a director with a difference with films like ‘Kadhal Konden’, ‘7G Rainbow Colony’ and ‘Pudhupettai’.
