These days, small screen directors are shifting on to the silver screen and proving their mettle.

Directors like Naga and ‘Mangai’ Harirajan are the role models for the aspiring soup directors. Following their track Thirumurugan of ‘Metti Oli’ fame made a big score with his debut venture ‘Em Magan’.

Now Sethan from the same ‘Metti Oli’ team is turning filmmaker for Sathya Jyothy Productions. Thirumurugan is making a project for Vikatan Television and is turning hero for the same. Abhishek, who is acting in tele-serial ‘Kolangal’ is also donning the directorial hat for the film ‘Kadhai’ soon.

Not lesser to anyone Solairaja is also jumping to the silver screen through the film ‘Neeyum Naanum’. On the other hand, the director of Sun TV’S popular show ‘Asathapovathu Yaru’ will be directing a film soon. They say “The meadow on the other side of the river is always greener”. Looks like it’s a season of migration, let’s see which side turns greener for them all…
