Filmmaker Arun Vaidyanathan's ‘Achchamundu Achchamundu’ has been selected for screening at the 33rd Cairo International film festival.

The movie is shot entirely in USA and produced by Ananth Govindan, Asma Hashmi, Ramzan Govindan, Hashmi, Srinivasan, Lakhani and Srinivasan. Arun Vaidyanathan recently received Media guild award for creating public awareness on Child sex abuse.

The filmmaker says, "A recognition in an international film festival always makes the entire team happy. I was so excited when Achchamundu played in Shanghai with Chinese subtitles and the entire Chinese audience gave a fantastic response".

"As a creator, it makes me happy that a Tamil film transcends the language and cultural barriers. At this time, I am thankful to the actors, technicians and especially producers for supporting a good film. Our team thank Suresh of Ananda Pictures for releasing the film in entire Tamil Nadu successfully".
