Arun Vijay’s ‘Malai Malai’ has seen 100 successfully days and is running in additional 7 centers. Sources close to the film’s team has confirmed that they are planning to have the 100th day function on the 14th of this month. Looks like the whole team will be honoured for which actor Suriya would be the chief guest. We hear that Arun Vijay’s upcoming film Maanja Velu’s team will be introduced on the same day.

When asked about his new films, the actor said, “Maanja Velu is shaping out really well. We are on our 3rd schedule. Actor Karthik is playing my brother in the film. He is re-entering after five years. He loved the script and we thought he would be the right one for the character. It’s going to be a treat for all Karthik fans. This film is going to come before director Mani Ratnam's film. Actor Prabhu is also doing a character. Two songs are shot abroad (Bangkok) and one in Pollachi with 70 dancers and big sets. ‘Maanja Velu’ is with the same technical team as ‘Malai Malai’. We are planning for release on January 29th. Actress Dhanshika (who starred in 'Peranmai') is playing the female lead while Vijayakumar, Anu Haasan, Chandrasekar, Santhanam, 'Ganja' Karuppu, 'Nizhalgal' Ravi and Thyagu are appearing in supporting roles.”

“There are a few surprises for the audience in this film. They will watch me in a never-before-seen avatar. The stunt choreography that was highly praised in my last film will be repeated in ‘Maanja Velu’ as well with the magic combination of master Kanal Kannan and me. The fights have been planned meticulously and shot in a very thrilling way to entertain the audience to the maximum,” adds the happy actor.

Wow, now we have a whole lot of fun waiting for us on Jan 29th. Best wishes team!
