‘Inidhu Inidhu’, a remake of Tollywood trendsetter ‘Happy Days’ will be a Pongal release, says its director Guhan. The debutant filmmaker is optimistic that the Tamil version too would make it big.

“The shooting is over. We are currently busy with editing and recording. Plans are on to release the music album of ‘Inidhu Inidhu’ by December. Mickey J Mayer, who scored music for ‘Happy Days, has composed tunes for ‘Inidhu Inidhu’ too,” he says.

Heaping laurels on Prakash Raj, he says, “I am happy to direct a film for Duet Movies. The production company run by Prakash Raj has carved a niche for itself by producing quality movies. ‘Inidhu Inidhu’ too will be one more in the line.”

On the movie, he says, “the script is so lovable and will be liked by one and all. There is no violence, suspense and action. It is a neat yet different story which is about the lives of college students.”

“Eight youngsters, all freshers, are playing lead roles in the movie. I am hopeful that ‘Inidhu Inidhu’ will bring a whiff of fresh air in Tamil cinema, where talents always get right recognition,” he adds.
