"I was disturbed watching visuals of the terror attacks in Mumbai on various television channels. Also everyday we read in newspapers about explosions and encounters between ultras and the police. It inspired me to come out with 'Nimidangal', a movie that deals about terrorism," says filmmaker Geetha Krishna.

"An eye-for-eye is a solution to end terror attacks in the country. Let's stop preaching Ahimsa and deal the terrorists in their own way", the director says.

Geetha Krishna, who made his presence felt with Prabhu Deva-Simran starrer 'Time', says, "Nimidangal is about an innocent but an intelligent youth, being made as a scapegoat by bad elements, who force him to plant bombs at strategic locations in Chennai. It is basically about the mind game played between the youth and the terrorist outfits from Pakistan."

"Today we are an easy prey to terror strikes. Unless we use our intelligence we would be blown away. This idea is reflected in my movie," he adds. The film is simultaneously being made in Telugu and Kannada too.
